The T-72 is a Soviet-designed main battle tank that entered production in 1971. It replaced the T-54/55 series as the workhorse of Soviet tank forces. T-72 manufacturing was licensed to various countries including Poland.
T-72M1 (Ob'yekt 172M-E5) is the export version of the T-72A which was built under license in Poland since 1983. The most obvious external difference relative to Soviet analogs is the reduced number of KMT mounting points on the lower hull glacis plate. This is the 1st version to feature ceramic sand bars "kwartz" rods in the turret cavity and 16 mm (0.63 in) High Hardness Steel appliqué armor on upper glacis.
Now you can build the T-72M1! The set includes 550 pieces, 1 figure and many accessories. The model features moving elements including a rotating turret, elevating barrel and hatches that can be shown opened or closed.
