Micro Art Studio was created in 2003. At the beginning it was informal group of hobbyists painting and converting figures and models for miscellaneous wargaming systems. In 2005 group was legally registered and year later transformed into an official company. In 2008 signed an agreement with Sir Terry Pratchett that entitled them to create collectible models from the Discworld universe. In 2011 an agreement was signed with Corvus Belli for creation of terrain and accessories for their Infinity game.
