The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon was introduced to the Jeep Wrangler line in 2003. The name “Rubicon” comes from the Rubicon trail in in Northern California famous for being the trail used for the annual “Jeepers Jamboree” .The Wrangler Rubicon came with the best “Off Road” ready vehicle that Jeep could offer straight out of the factory. The Rubicon had upgraded axles, transfer case, tires, disc brakes, heavy duty drive-train and tougher suspension components.
This Welly diecast model represents a 2-Door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon hard top. It is highly detailed with separate clear plastic headlights, taillights, mirrors and turn signals. The side door slides open revealing the interior details such as seats, steering wheel, and instrument panel. The wheels are free rolling and made of rubber.
