The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is an American multi-mission, tiltrotor military aircraft with both vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL), and short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities. It is designed to combine the functionality of a conventional helicopter with the long-range, high-speed cruise performance of a turboprop aircraft. First flight occurred on March 19^th 1989 and was introduced into service in 2007.  The V-22 is currently in service with the United States Marine Corps, Air Force and Navy.

Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) is a United States Marine Corps helicopter squadron responsible for the transportation of the President of the United States, Vice President, Heads of States, DOD Officials and other VIPs as directed by the Marine Corps and White House Military Office (WHMO). A Marine helicopter which has the President aboard uses the call sign "Marine One".

This model represents a United States Marine Corps MV-22B from HMX-1 with the dark green livery and is based at Marine Corps Air Facility (MCAF) Quantico, VA.

This MV-22 model by Air Force One is highly detailed with squadron markings, panel lines, moveable rear ramp and the various antennae. The model comes with landing gear extended and the wheels are able to roll.   The interesting feature is that the engines can rotate depending on how you display the model.  The wing box also rotates to show the model in “stowed” configuration.  There is a metal display stand included that requires minor assembly.
