The incredible model of the mighty historical B-24D bomber has been meticulously developed using a whopping 1445 building blocks in 1:48 scale. The set uses only durable prints. You won't find stickers here! To better reproduce the complex shape of the glazed cockpit, Cobi developed new patterns of blocks! In the cockpit there are two figures of the pilots included in the set. The figurines also contain very interesting prints on the back, which perfectly refer to the battles in the Pacific region. The kit includes movable parts such as propellers, ailerons and lockable bomb hatches. The plane is very large. It has a wingspan of 68.5 cm and is 45 cm long. Thanks to the intuitive instructions based on clear icons, the construction is simple. The aircraft is a must-have for all enthusiasts of history, aviation, military and military technology. The huge number of components provides many hours of exciting construction. The set was entirely manufactured in Poland in the European Union.
The B-24 Liberator is an American long-range heavy bomber and patrol aircraft, also used to combat U-boats. Designed and built by the American Consolidated Aircraft Corporation. Its task was to bomb distant cities, factories, bases and other enemy targets. With the entry of the U.S. into World War II, production of the aircraft increased. This aircraft was armed with 8-10 12.7 mm machine guns and could carry up to 3.6 tons of bombs, cargo and men. Build it and feel the story, brick by brick!
