The F91 was a prototype MS developed by Strategic Naval Research Institute as part of their Formula Project. Various revolutionary technologies have been adopted, making it a machine which has reached a tidemark for Mobile Suits of that period. The F91 was completed in U.C. 0116 and operational tests took place during U.C. 0121 to U.C. 0122. In U.C. 0122, the F91 was used against the Oldsmobile Army, controlled by former pilot of the F90 Gundam F90, Bergh Scred. Since the Bio-Computer was not completed yet, it was equipped with a normal Learning Computer, but it still demonstrated high performance and was capable of defeating the MS of the Oldsmobile Army.
This release of the Gundam F91 appears in a modern high-grade kit! Part of the All Gundam project which seeks to bring new modern kits from older Gundam titles, the F91 shares a common construction with other kits to allow for part swapping and easy customization.
