The Fokker Dr.I served in the German Air Force (Luftstreitkrafte) during the 1st World War. This tri-plane gave the German Air Force an airplane with great maneuverability and a high rate of climb. The Fokker Dr.I was flown by German fighter ace Manfred von Richthofen, best known as the “Red Baron”. The plane had a 110-hp cylinder rotary engine, with a max speed of 115 mph and carried two Spandau MG 08 7.92-mm synchronized machine guns.
This Daron Postage Stamp 1/63 scale diecast model is a replica of the Fokker DR.1 flown by Baron Von Richthofen.
This model is a great addition to your aircraft collection.
