The Space Shuttle Enterprise Orbital Vehicle (OV) 101 is now housed at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City. This prototype orbiter, which never flew in space but was used for crucial test flights in the late 1970s, is on display on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid. The exhibit includes information on the shuttle's history, its role in the development of NASA's Space Shuttle program, and its contributions to space exploration. Visitors can view the shuttle up close and learn about the technology and engineering behind this iconic spacecraft.
This Hobby Master model is a replica of Space Shuttle Enterprise. As with most Hobby Master models it features detailed exterior surfaces. The model has opening cargo bay doors which showcase a detailed cargo bay with robotic arm and space lab module. The model can be displayed with or without landing gear. A display stand is included.
