In 1961, Mercedes-Benz presented the W 110 series, also known as the “small rear fin”, as the successor of the famous Ponton Mercedes, the W120. With the design element of the so-called tailfins, the more conservative Mercedes-Benz design department made concessions to the American automotive design that prevailed at the time. However, Mercedes called them a “point of the road”, as they clearly marked the end of the vehicle when parking in reverse.
This 1/64 scale Schuco is a replica miniature model of this Mercedes-Benz 200 D (W110) Heckflosse (small fin).
This model is the perfect choice for diorama makers and model car collectors.
