The 7th Armoured Division was an armoured division of the British Army that saw distinguished active service during World War II, where its exploits in the Western Desert Campaign gained it the Desert Rats nickname. But the name became a term to include all those of the British Desert Army.
This Perry Miniatures kit portrays the "Desert Rats" from 1940-43. 38 hard plastic multipose British or Commonwealth infantry for the desert war. The figures are all in shorts, shirtsleeve order and helmets with the option to convert a portion into Long Range Desert Group/SAS. There are enough to make a platoon of 3 sections plus an HQ section. Also included are 32x 20mm circular and 4x 40mm square bases (for the support teams).
