The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, sometimes called G-Wagen is a mid-size four-wheel drive luxury SUV. The G-wagen is characterized by its boxy stying and body on frame construction. It was developed as a military vehicle and first introduced to civilians in 1979, it is still in production. It was not available in the United States until 2002 and was sold as the Mercedes-Benz G500. Current models are the G 550 and AMG G 63/65.
This Welly diecast model represents the G500. It has very nice details such as separate clear plastic headlights, taillights, mirrors and turn signals. The doors can open revealing nice interior details such as accurate seats, steering wheel, and instrument panel
The wheels are free rolling and made of rubber. The back wheels have pull back action, which means that it will wind up when you pull it back and it will roll if you let it go.
This model does not come with a retail box.
