The IMEX Kit of Korean War US Army figures is designed to accurately represent US troops from the latter stages of the Korean War. The figures feature the M1 helmet with a tight-fitting cover and wear M1951 field trouser-shells, indicating late-war uniforms. Equipped with a variety of authentic straps and gear, the figures mostly represent lightly encumbered soldiers.
The set includes M1 rifles, M1 carbine, flamethrower, M20 3.5-inch rocket launcher, and a water-cooled .30 caliber M1917A1 machine gun. The flamethrower, machine gun crew, and rocket launcher crew require assembly, resulting in more realistic models. Half of the poses require assembly of two or more pieces, with separate heads for prone figures and a water supply hose for the machine gun enhancing accuracy. The plastic used bonds strongly when glued, ensuring durability.
High-quality sculpting with detailed features, such as hand grenades attached to breast pockets, enhances the overall realism.
