Nestled to the east of Malifaux City is the Bayou, an expansive swamp with open marshes, flooded wetlands, and acres of pig farms. Beneath the branches is a cobbled-together Gremlin society that mimics the important elements of humanity, like brewing alcohol, shooting guns, and generally being a lethal nuisance to society. The Bayou is a chaotic place, and the denizens will do whatever it takes to keep it that way.
The Clampetts, Fisherfolk - This ragtag family of fisherfolk lives along the seaside border of the Bayou. Beach life is pretty casual, but a whole lotta beasties from the Gibbering Hordes have been tuggin’ on fishing lines as of late. The Angler Keyword focuses on swamping the board with Tide Markers, which are Severe and grant Angler models + to Defense duels thanks to their Chum the Waters Ability. The Clampetts themselves leap around the battlefield, throwing dynamite to blow their opponents out of the water and draw cards while doing it. Their Use Em’ As Bait Ability offers card draw when an enemy model makes contact with a Tide Marker, unless the enemy model discards a card of their own. Talk about a fishy situation…
