The Plymouth Barracuda is a two-door automobile manufactured by Plymouth from 1964 to 1974.
The third generation, offered from 1970 to 1974, was no longer based on the A-body, but on the Chrysler E-body. The E-body Barracuda was now "able to shake the stigma of 'economy car'.Three versions were offered for 1970 and 1971: the base Barracuda (BH), the luxury oriented Gran Coupe (BP), and the sport model 'Cuda (BS)
The Barracuda was discontinued after the 1974 model year
Sheathed in the aerodynamic Plymouth® Barracuda body, this car was powered by the famous 426 HEMI® engine. 1971 was the last year that the engine was available and survivors today often sell for amounts reaching into six figures at car auctions. This lightweight machine was transformed into a ground-pounding street machine when powered by the 426-cubic-inch "Elephant Motor." 4-speed transmission is equipped with a pistol grip shifter, heavy-duty springs and suspension, and oversize performance tires mounted on special Ralleye Wheels. "Air grabber" air scoop on the hood, distinctive "HEMI" side stripes, and a rear spoiler; powerful 426 Hemi engine. Rear wing and rear window louvers.
This Revell kit features waterslide decals with Hemi graphics. Molded in white and clear with plated parts and black vinyl tires.
This model kit is a great addition to your collection.
