Eurofighter EF2000 Typhoon Luftwaffe TaktLwG 74 60th Anniversary 2016, 1:72 Scale Diecast Model

The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European multinational twin-engine, supersonic, canard delta wing, multirole fighter. The Typhoon was designed originally as an air-superiority fighter and is manufactured by a consortium of Airbus, BAE Systems and Leonardo that conducts the majority of the project through a joint holding company, Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH. The NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency, representing the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain, manages the project and is the prime customer.

Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 74 (74th Tactical Air Force Wing), formerly known as Jagdgeschwader 74 (JG 74) (74th Fighter Wing), is an aviation unit of the German Air Force, based on Neuburg Air Base in Bavaria since 1961. On 1 October 2013, the unit was renamed in the course of adaptations to the new structure of the German Air Force

This JC Wings 1/72 scale model is a replica of German Luftwaffe Eurofighter EF2000 “Typhoon” 30+68 of the Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader (Tactical Air Force Wing) 74.  The aircraft is displayed in the units special 60^th Anniversary livery from 2016. The model comes with a pilot figure and a full complement of weapons.
