The Definitive Tabletop Boundary System
The Renedra Mixed Fencing kit introduces an essential set of linear obstacles and defensive cover to your tabletop layouts, showcasing the premier quality of UK-engineered hard plastic injection molding. Designed by the acclaimed Tim Adcock of TA Miniatures, this versatile 1/56 (28mm) scale set is a system-agnostic terrain asset engineered to adapt across almost any historical period or fantasy setting. From Post Classical/Medieval farm fields and Napoleonic enclosures to 19th-century American Civil War (ACW) layouts, Wild West skirmishes, and rural World War II battlefields, these fences provide instant narrative immersion and crucial tactical cover.
Molded in a durable gray hard plastic, each package delivers a realistic variety of traditional linear perimeter options to scatter across your gaming boards or diorama bases. Rather than dealing with warped resin pieces or flat laser-cut wood, these injection-molded sprues feature deep, organic wood-grain textures that hold paint beautifully. Assembling cleanly with standard liquid plastic cement for a permanent, unbreakable solvent-weld, this set allows wargamers to quickly fortify objectives or delineate roads for tactical rule sets like Bolt Action, Black Powder, Sharp Practice, and Warhammer: The Old World.

Tips: To create dynamic linear bases, cut thin strips of plastic card or MDF, glue your assembled fence sections down, and texture the earth around them. Painting these is incredibly fast: prime in a dark brown tone, heavy dry-brush with an earth brown, and finish with a light dry-brush of gray-tan to simulate aged, sun-bleached timber. To ground the fences into your terrain seamlessly, add small patches of flock and scatter realistic Gamers Grass tufts along the base of the posts to represent overgrown wild grass.
