Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. E, or Tiger, is a German heavy tank from World War II. Its characteristic body is still recognizable all over the world. The vehicle itself has become a legend and is still present not only in historical materials, but also in pop culture. The first Tiger specimens were placed on the front line near Leningrad and Tunisia between August and September 1942. The tank designed and manufactured by Henschel was very modern and effective. Unfortunately its production consumed a huge amount of valuable raw materials and precious factory time. Tiger I tanks and a few Tiger IIs had a significant impact on the course of the war. The notorious Tigers destroyed more than 10,300 Allied tanks and 11,380 guns, with their own losses only totaling 1,725.
A unique collector's model of one of the world's most recognizable tanks! The Panzer VI Tiger is entirely designed with COBI building blocks. It has many moving elements such as: openable hatches, movable gun barrel and rotating wheels and tracks. Service flaps can be opened up to see the engine mounted inside the vehicle. The advantage of the set (consisting of 800 pieces) is a very solid design, which faithfully reflects the original shapes of its historical namesake. The tank has been covered with high-quality prints that don't smear or scratch even during intense play. The kit comes with a tank commander figure equipped with a headset, pistol and binoculars.
